What happened

In @rog0x/mcp-docker-tools up to and including 1.0.1, the handleImageList function is affected by an issue that allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code.

Why it is dangerous: Successful exploitation would give an attacker the ability to run code with the privileges of the process using the package, which could mean control over the host system and its Docker environment. Developers and teams running this package in tools or automation are at risk.

Are you affected?

You are affected if you use the npm package @rog0x/mcp-docker-tools at version 1.0.1 or earlier.
