Mautic 7 campaign import lets logged-in users upload executable files
Any logged-in user allowed to import campaigns can upload a file that the web server will run as a program. That lets an attacker take over the server and read its settings and contact data.

What happened
Mautic 7's campaign import copies bundled asset files into a publicly accessible media directory without checking file names or types. Authenticated users can use the UI or /api/campaigns/import to place server-side scripts in the web root, leading to remote code execution.
Are you affected?
You are affected if you run Mautic 7 and allow users to create campaign imports, especially on Apache setups that honor per-directory configuration, such as the default official Mautic Docker image.
Mautic 7 (campaign import feature)
What to do
- Restrict campaign import permissions to trusted users only until a fix is applied
- Check the media directory for unexpected script files and review recent campaign imports
- Watch for an official Mautic release or advisory that announces a patched version and update to it
- Limit the web server user's file access and disable script execution in the media directory if possible
