What happened

AjaxLoadMore Cache versions up to and including 3.1.1 contain an unauthenticated remote code execution vulnerability, allowing unauthenticated remote attackers to execute code on the server.

Why it is dangerous: Successful exploitation gives an attacker control over the web server, which can expose or alter site data, install malware, or use the site for further attacks. Any site running the affected plugin is at risk.

Are you affected?

You are affected if your WordPress site has the AjaxLoadMore Cache plugin installed at version 3.1.1 or earlier.

  4. Review the server for unexpected files or activity if the plugin was running before this was known
