What happened
A flaw in the Enterprise Scheduling System component of Oracle SOA Suite (Oracle Fusion Middleware) lets an unauthenticated attacker with network access send crafted SOAP requests to compromise the product.
Are you affected?
You are affected if you run Oracle SOA Suite 12.2.1.4.0 or 14.1.2.0.0 with the Enterprise Scheduling System component reachable over the network via SOAP.
Oracle SOA Suite 12.2.1.4.0; Oracle SOA Suite 14.1.2.0.0
What to do
- Check whether your Oracle SOA Suite runs version 12.2.1.4.0 or 14.1.2.0.0 with Enterprise Scheduling System enabled
- Restrict network access to the SOAP endpoints of the SOA Suite to trusted hosts only
- Apply the security update or patch from Oracle as soon as it is available for your version
