CriticalVulnerabilityCVE-2026-91250updated 25 Oct 2026, 18:50 UTC

Oracle SOA Suite flaw lets low-privilege attackers take over the server

Someone with a basic login account on Oracle SOA Suite could take full control of the system over the network. Because the flaw can also affect other connected products, the damage could spread beyond SOA Suite.

What happened

A vulnerability in the Adapters component of Oracle SOA Suite (Oracle Fusion Middleware) allows a low-privileged attacker with network access, using multiple protocols, to fully compromise the product, with scope change to other products.

Why it is dangerous: A successful attacker could read, change, or disrupt all data and services handled by SOA Suite, and may reach other connected systems. Organizations that run integration middleware exposed to a network are most at risk.

Are you affected?

You are affected if you run Oracle SOA Suite 12.2.1.4.0 or 14.1.2.0.0 with its Adapters component reachable over the network.

Oracle SOA Suite 12.2.1.4.0; Oracle SOA Suite 14.1.2.0.0

What to do

  1. Check whether you run Oracle SOA Suite 12.2.1.4.0 or 14.1.2.0.0 and whether the Adapters component is reachable from the network
  2. Restrict network access to SOA Suite administrative and adapter endpoints to trusted hosts only
  3. Apply the patch or security update from Oracle as soon as it is available for your version
  4. Review logs for unusual activity on SOA Suite and rotate credentials for accounts with access
